North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking to identify suitably qualified and experienced contractors for thesupply, installation, repair, maintenance and servicing of disabled equipment (see Technical Specification), aspart of its Disabled Facilities Grant Programme. This Invitation to Tender has been divided into lots. Tendererscan tender for 1 or both lots. LOT 1 Supply and installation of stairlifts, passenger lifts, vertical through floor lifts and fixed hoists. Tenderers will be ranked in accordance to the award criteria and the top seven scoring will be invited to join theframework. Future requirements under lot 1 will be called-off via mini competition. Mini competitions carried out under this lot will be awarded using the MEAT criteria 100 % price wherespecification compliance for the particular domicile is evidenced. LOT 2 Repairs, maintenance and servicing stairlifts, passenger lifts, vertical through floor lifts and fixedhoists. Tenderers will be ranked in accordance with the award criteria and the top four scoring will be invited to jointhe framework. The evaluation for entry onto the framework will determine which tenderer receives all/anyopportunities to undertake repairs maintenance and servicing. Where the top ranking tenderer has insufficientcapacity to meet demand, the second ranked tenderer will be approached to meet the requirement using thepricing they submitted to enter the framework. The tenderer ranked fourth will receive business where tenderersranked 1,2, and 3 are above delivery capacity to meet demand in a timely manner. It is anticipated that the framework agreement will commence on 1.3.2016. The duration of the frameworkagreement will be 24 months from the date of commencement with an option to extend for a further 2 x 12month periods. The framework is being established principally for the requirements of North East Lincolnshire Council andits subsidiary companies which includes, but is not limited to, Lincs Inspire Ltd. The framework may also beaccessed by North Lincolnshire Council and can be accessed by them at any time during the framework period.
