description

The Authority submit the below opportunity:

The Provision of Subject Matter Expert Support to RAF Brize Norton for CAP 1616 stage 2, 3 & 4 Airspace Change.

Under direction from CAS, RAF Brize Norton are to re-submit an ACP under CAA CAP 1616. To this end the Unit will require the assistance of specialised aviation consultancy companies with skills in delivering airspace design and procedural design. The project will be managed by RAF Brize Norton personnel but there are elements of the process that the RAF are not SQEP to complete. This view is supported by Cdr Lippitt, Head of Airspace Policy and Strategy at DAATM who stated in a supporting email that, 'the military are not resourced, trained or indeed SQEP to run a full ACP. A dedicated team that can develop experience, or contractor support, would ensure that an ACP runs as efficiently as possible and so potentially will have more chance of success.

Please submit your interest via the attached ITT.

All suppliers are to respond to all elements of the Qualification, Technical and Commercial elements of this ITT. Failure to do so will render your bid non-complaint and excluded from the competition.

All further information can be found within the ITT at https://contracts.mod.uk/esop/guest/go/opportunity/detail?opportunityId=56289
