description

NHS Guildford and Waverley Clinical Commissioning Group (GWCCG) are looking to procure adult community health services. It is anticipated that a formal procurement will begin in late March 2016 with new services to commence on 1 April 2017.

Following from the pre-market engagement event discussions in late January 2016, GWCCG are seeking interested organisations to respond to a brief questionnaire as a means of fine tuning its approach to the procurement.

The vision for adult community health services in Guildford and Waverley is a whole system model of care. It reaches from upstream information and advice/support services through to sub-acute care in the community and the front door of the acute hospital as well as facilitated early or timely discharge from acute in-patient care.

As part of the vision for transforming local community services, continued engagement with interested providers will help the commissioners to support and shape the services within scope of the procurement. The CCG is keen to understand the views of providers in advance of the ITT release in the following areas:

Tariff / contracting model
Pricing & payment mechanisms
Barriers that the CCG can facilitate removing

Interested organisations are asked to complete and return the questionnaire to Greg Reide greg_reide@nhs.net by close of business on Wednesday, 02 March 2016.

Further information regarding the procurement of adult community health services can be found on our website at the following link: http://www.guildfordandwaverleyccg.nhs.uk/info.aspx?p=7

Additional information: Any responses to this Early Market Engagement Exercise imply no commitment on Providers to engage in any subsequent procurement process, nor do they confer any advantaged status or guarantee of inclusion in any subsequent procurement process for those Providers who do respond. The RFI questionnaire and all responses received are in no way legally binding on any party.

Guildford and Waverley CCG will treat any responses as confidential.
