description

The Troubled Families Team in the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has commissioned an independent national evaluation of the expanded Troubled Families Programme. This evaluation aims to demonstrate impact; measure value for money; and evaluate the transformation of services and effectiveness of a family intervention approach.

Lot 3 covers two separate surveys:

  • oSection A - A longitudinal family survey to collect family data not held in national administrative systems for a nationally representative sample of families;
  • oSection B - A longitudinal Troubled Families Coordinator survey to understand the characteristics of service transformation in local areas and how this changes during the lifetime of the programme.
