description

The science museum group (SMG) are seeking an individual artists, creative studios and technologists to create an innovative digital and interactive experience for the Manchester Science Festival 2022 and Bradford Science Festival 2023.

The work should be fun and accessible for a range of visitors - from families through to adults. Families are the biggest audience for both festivals and the commission should be developed to appeal to them - placing their experience at the heart. It will stand out from the rest of the programme of both festivals and be in situ for at least 10 days at each site (up to 3 months at the Science and Industry Museum).

The finished work needs to be robust, designed with large volumes of people in mind, interacting and immersing themselves in the experience.
