179/LF Small Angle X Ray Scattering Equipment

The University of Sheffield is looking to appoint a supplier who can supply, deliver, install and commission a new small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) laboratory instrument. The instrument is planned to be a major University facility for x-ray scattering measurements including SAXS, wide-angle X-ray scattering (WAXS) and grazing incidence (GI) SAXS/WAXS.

For the purposes of this procurement, our requirements have been divided into 3 Lots as follows:

Lot 1 - Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) laboratory Instrument

Lot 2 - Detectors

Lot 3 - X-ray source maintenance contract

The University reserves the right to award to suppliers by Lot or to a single supplier for all the lots.
