description

Amey, working on behalf of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), proposes to install Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCP) in line with JSP 375 and OLEV requirements to suitable Service Family Accommodation across the UK. The charging points will only be installed where there is off-street parking adjacent to the property. Installation in line with IET Code of Practice, BS 7671 2018, and all OLEV requirements.

Charging points will only be installed on the external wall of the property within 15 meters of the CCU. If there is not any suitable spare ways on the existing CCU then the CCU will be replaced to allow for the EVCP and also leave 2 spare ways minimum.

Ongoing maintenance will be excluded from the initial scope of the install and addressed on an individual basis moving forward.
