The service provision will:
- Recruit, train and support a team of volunteer Independent Visitors from diverse backgrounds.
- Successfully promote the service to encourage the referral of the most vulnerable children to the service including those with complex needs and vulnerabilities.
- Implement a safe and age appropriate linking process to ensure best match for children and Independent Visitors
- Contribute to children achieving positive outcomes
- Ensure that children are safeguarded at all times.
- Comply with performance and finance monitoring requirements.
- Ensure that there are effective mechanisms for children to comment on and contribute to the design and delivery of the service.
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders.
