description
The remit of STA is to ensure the consistency and accuracy of KS1 data and audit the implementation of the KS1 LA moderation processes. As part of this process an SEM will oversee, co-ordinate and quality assure the role of the OEMs as they conduct independent validations of the effectiveness of an LA's moderation procedures in relation to national standards.
STA are looking for associates that have a good understanding of KS1 teacher assessment and demonstrable experience of LA KS1 moderation. In addition, associates will need to be able to demonstrate experience of team leadership and team management. Experience in these areas is likely to come from someone with an LA or a classroom background, working as an LA moderator or moderation manager.
The roles will be for a select number of days within a 5-month period (a payment schedule is shown in the 'pricing' section). Applicants would need to be available from 5 March 2018 to 31 July 2018; this role can be undertaken alongside a full-time position, for example in a school or LA. Successful applicants will be asked if they have any connections with any LAs which may be seen as a conflict of interest.
