DN686846 Delivery of the Planned Internal Refurbishment, kitchens & bathrooms programme

Under a call off procedure from the Fusion21 Refurbishment, Construction,

New Build and Modular Buildings Framework Agreement, Lot 1a External & Internal Refurbishment - Housing, London Borough of Hackney Council seek to appoint a competent and suitably qualified main contractor to deliver its planned internal refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms within identified qualifying properties. The contractor will provide a complete design and build service to deliver works in line with the relevant specification provided. As such the contractor will be required to take on the role and responsibilities of Principal designer and Principal Contractor roles.

The appointed contractor will deliver planned internal improvement works to qualifying homes in years 1 and 2 of the council's 7 year programme. It is expected to deliver internal improvements to up to 900 homes.

These improvements include kitchen renewals, bathroom renewals, and electrical upgrades. They will also incorporate key fire safety measures in the homes, and may include works to rectify possible hazards to residents in the home, including damp and mould.
