The main aims of the service will be to:

- Work proactively with schools to ensure access, promotion of uptake and smooth delivery arrangements
- Provide accessible catch up opportunities within communities for the scheduled programmes
- Proactively address potential barriers to engagement to maximise uptake with a specific emphasis on those less likely to engage, disadvantaged groups and those outside of the education system.
- Maximise the use of technology to support the provision of age appropriate, clear and understandable information to enable parents and children to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing
- Work with service users and key stakeholders to constantly and innovatively improve service delivery
- Make "every contact count"
- Provide full support and assistance in response to outbreaks and pandemic situations
The school aged immunisation programmes to be provided by the service are:
- Childhood Influenza (seasonal flu for primary aged children and those in special schools)
- Meningococcal groups ACWY (MenACWY)
- Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio (Teenage Booster)
- Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
