To carry out remedial works to achieve L8 compliance

To isolate and strip out mixer valves throughout school. Clean out filters and set temperatures to 41°c.

To set correct temperatures on all point of use water heaters.

To isolate hot and cold services to outlets and remove braided hoses.

Re-pipe in hard copper.Fill, vent and test on completion.

To isolate, drain down services and remove all dead legs throughout the school. Refill, vent and test on completion. .

To supply and install non-return valves as required.

To supply and install thermal insulation as per legionella report.

To change faulty or defective taps as required.

To mark up pipework with adhesive labels stating that services are redundant

To supply and install retaining clips to shower/sink hoses.

To supply and install outside tap/s where dead legs are unable to be stripped back to parent pipe.

To re-orientate incorrectly installed expansion vessels.

To strip out and remove from site redundant showers.

Remove pipework back to parent pipe to eliminate dead legs.

To supply and install boxing on pipework within children's toilets.

Pipework temperatures are currently at 60°c and presents a scold risk.
