Reference: tfl_scp_001314
Transport for London (TfL) invites you to express an interest in submitting a tender proposal to undertake the professional research services as detailed in the attached document: “tfl_scp_001314_task_specification_visual_amenity”
The purpose of this research is to assemble an objective evidence base to facilitate informed debate between policy makers, road network operators and design practitioners on road sign lighting. The evidence base will be of sufficient quality and scope to ensure that at the conclusion of such debates, decision-makers will be able to assess whether: taxpayers receive a value for money road sign lighting asset; road users safety is optimised within the constraints of network operators budgets and; roadworker are not exposed to a level of risk which is disproportionate to the accident risk reduction for the road user.
Please note that the outer maximum budget for this procurement is £140,000 and the services must be delivered within this range.
Transport for London requires you to confirm your interest in taking part in a tender for these research services.
Tender documentation is expected to be despatched late February 2016
We would appreciate a response on the attached expression of interest form confirming interest no later than 24th February 2016. The reply should be sent to Daniel Farley on the email address in this notice.
