description
An Investors in Apprentices Quality Mark, developed under the Investors in People brand family will meet government's objectives and the social purpose of Investors in People. This partnership leverages both the existing brand and reach of Investors in People and the opportunity the government's ambitious apprenticeship delivery target presents.
The quality mark will focus on accrediting and assuring the working environment and the quality of support, leadership and progression opportunities given to apprentices within an organisation. This aligns with the 4 key benefits to be realised from the apprenticeship reform, a key part of the government's commitment on apprenticeships.
Following the pilot phase with a group of 50 employers there will be an evaluation and any recommended changes will be made, after which (if the evaluation does not throw up any major issues) the quality mark will be launched to employers nationally and will be delivered on a self-funding basis by Investors in People. The funding from ESFA is solely to support the development of the award.
