HCC - 06/17 - The Provision of a Specialist Cleaning Service

The Council regards Specialist Cleaning service as cleaning which requires enhanced knowledge of not just what is to be cleaned, but of the process used to clean it. These will usually include diverse range of tasks including internal deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, kitchen appliance cleaning, removal of household rubbish, cleaning of clinical hazards etc.

This often involves where properties have deteriorated into quite often a no longer habitable environment and would therefore need thorough deep cleaning, plus large amounts of waste removal.

Also a high level of co-ordination with Social Care Teams is required to be undertaken by the Contractors in the course of service delivery.

Hertfordshire County Council are currently out to procurement for the provision of Specialist Cleaning

This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to \"express interest\" which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system.

The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 1 August 2017.

To be considered as a Bidder you must complete and submit a Bid by the deadline of 12.00 Noon on 18 August 2017.
