Expression of Interest for the Provision of a Complex Care Package for Children's Services

Buckinghamshire County Council is seeking expressions of interest from providers that have the capacity and capability to deliver a complex care package for Children's Services.

We are looking to commission a registered children's home in Buckinghamshire on a 5 year contract for a young adolescent boy who is currently detained under section 3 of the MHA but now needs to be placed into the community.

Buckinghamshire County Council and NHS England will fund the capital purchase of a property and the adaptions to meet the young person's needs and maintain the ownership of the property for the contract period and beyond.

We would expect the children's home to be registered and running within 9-12 months on a 5 year contract.

The client has a mental health diagnosis of (F72) Severe mental retardation, (F84.0) Childhood autism, suspected (F31.6) Bipolar affective disorder current episode mixed. To be considered, Providers must register on the Buckinghamshire Business Portal (www.supplybucksbusiness.org.uk), complete the attached document and respond via the messaging facility on the portal by midday on Friday 8th February 2019.
