The purpose of the Employment by Occupation Research is to provide the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) with a robust evidence base for understanding the composition of the workforce of the UK construction industry, particularly the size and structure of occupations that cannot be easily disaggregated from national statistics.
The project will update and repeat research that was undertaken in 1998, 2001, 2005, 2011 & 2016) to provide accurate estimates of workforce size and composition in terms of the number of employees, trainees, and self-employed, by occupational category, and by gender across both non-manual and manual occupations.
This requirement was procured under CCS Framework Reference Number RM6126 for the provision of Research & Insights.
