description
Derby City Council is working in partnership with South Derbyshire District Council and Sport England to complete two aligned Playing Pitch Strategies which will determine clear priorities and pathways for the future delivery of outdoor sport across the two authority areas.
In order to assess supply and demand for the future delivery of outdoor sport across the two authority areas, an up to date Playing Pitch Strategy for each area is required that acknowledges the need to align resources, investment and priorities where appropriate. The strategies will provide a more robust assessment which will be fed into respective overarching strategies for both authorities and help to inform partners when developing outdoor sports provision.
