description

Essex Police is considering the purchase and implementation of a “single user overview” for use predominantly within the non-emergency contact centre but will be accessible for the wider Force.

The “single user overview” is a computer system that will provide an immediate overview of the caller history – this will allow application of Threat, Harm, Risk, Investigation, Vulnerability, and Engagement principles (THRIVE) based on a full picture to the operator rather than the need to log into multiple systems and conduct manual searches.

It will provide automatic alerts to quickly identify risk – pulling data from a number of legacy systems which will inform the contact handler of everything they need to know before applying the THRIVE principles. The single user overview will reference KEY systems including Public Protection; one of our highest risk areas.

Additional information: Early Market Engagement:

The Commissioner, prior to commencing any formal tender, invites potential suppliers to provide indicative costings as per the draft specification.

This early engagement notice is not a call for competition for the purposes of Regulation 26 (9) of the Public Contract Regulation 2015 — a specific call for competition for this procurement may be published within the next 2-6 months.

Please register on the Bravo solution e-tendering portal to download a copy of the requirement via: www.kentpolice.bravosolution.co.uk

The project reference is 17163.

This market engagement will not influence the selection of bidders but this process aims to engage with economic operators to assess the feasibility of the proposed requirements.

The Commissioner encourages open, fair and transparent procurement and omission from any part of the market engagement shall not be taken into account in any subsequent bidder selection or tender evaluation process.
