Reporting to the Programme Manager for managing people-focused change projects, including pay structures, reward & recognition and talent management.

The role will require working with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions where problems may not be fully understood at the outset of the project. Therefore these projects will need to be managed in a controlled but agile way.

The role will require a background in HR as it will involve some or all of the following:

working with HR reward specialists and stakeholders to explore pay progression and non-pay benefits options and implement the chosen options
leading and delivering talent initiatives and a graduate scheme
rolling out new learning and development products
having overall responsibility for successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and completion of projects
managing stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery of projects
resource planning and monitoring (budget and internal resources)
working with contractors and managing contracts
interfacing between the project and the business areas affected to ensure transition to business as usual

Skills Required

Critical:

Relevant HR experience
Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, including a clear and methodological approach to project planning.
Proven leadership skills.
Effective risk and issue management skills.
Financial management experience such as budget management, resource management and forecasting.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), including drafting of quality project documents such as business cases, briefs and reports.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex ideas or proposals and use multiple sources of information to create meaningful solutions

Desirable:

HR professional qualification
Understanding or experience of PRINCE2, DSDM Agile or similar project management methods
HR experience in managing projects related to some or all of the following areas: learning and development; talent management; pay and reward.
Knowledge and experience of all stages of the project and project lifecycle, including project set-up and initiation, implementation, evaluation and closure.
Experience of procurement and contract management
Experience in people management.
Experience in change management.
Seek new learning opportunities to stay technical and relevant

Some minimal travel to our London office will be required - no more than twice per month on average.
