Accommodation Based Housing Related Support Service To Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) Young People

The London Boroughs of Hackney, Islington and Haringey are inviting suitably qualified and experienced organisations to tender for an Accommodation Based Housing Related Support Service for LGBT young people.

The service will aim to contribute to strategies for to enable young LGBT people to achieve improved health and wellbeing and live independently within the community. The service will deliver support to vulnerable young men and women aged 16-24. The service will provide each service user with an average of 3 support hours per week. This service will be available a minimum of 6 days per week offering flexible early morning, evening and weekend appointments to meet the needs of the service user.

This is a joint commissioning arrangement. Contracts will be for a period of three (3) years to commence from September 2015 with the possibility of an extension of up to two (2) years (subject to satisfactory performance and the joint agreement of the respective Councils).

Organisations planning to tender for the contract must also be aware that TUPE conditions (The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment Regulations) 2006) will apply. Further information will be provided upon request.
