description
East Sussex County Council, on behalf of the current and future members of the South East Grid (SEG) Consortium, invite experienced providers to participate in their tender for a new SEG Network Services framework contract.
The Consortium's key objectives for the project are:
- oTo provide continuity of service to members as the existing contract comes to an end.
- oTo meet the emerging requirements for Network Services.
- oTo use the capital investment to stimulate a wider market interest and commitment to deploying gigabit capable fibre infrastructure that would also benefit residents, communities and businesses across the current Link geography.
- oTo build a consortium of public sector organisations that can scale across the South East of England to provide a joined up and single sourcing route for the wider public sector, e.g. schools, health and blue light.
- oTo deliver Social Value and Societal Benefits to the South East Grid consortium. Any social value delivered must be delivered within the region (i.e. County, City, Borough or District) placing the call off contract.
Please note that there will be a Supplier Briefing on 22 October 2020 at 9:30am. Please use the correspondence function to confirm that you would like to attend this virtual Supplier Briefing.
