description

NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group (the “Contracting Authority”) is offering a contract to the successful Bidder to provide a Quality Improvement Service for Local GP Practices.

NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group (WCCG) wishes to appoint a Provider to deliver quality improvement across its member practices, addressing variation and ensuring all practices have access to expertise and support to achieve improvements in the delivery of high quality primary care. This will be aligned to the NHS quality areas defined as patient safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness.

The delivery of this quality agenda will be through a single Provider working actively and collaboratively with the 42 member practices across the borough. The Provider will be required to ensure that this happens in an equitable and efficient way, at least partially, through facilitating coordination between practices to work and deliver a single system for the population whilst holding a clear and recognisable formal role in overseeing delivery of the agenda.

The Provider will offer assurance on deliver of specific criteria as well as demonstrate measurable improvements in agreed areas at a Wandsworth wide and individual practice level.

The CCG anticipates awarding a contract for 12 months. The expected service commencement date is 1st April 2016. The total value of the contract over 12 months is estimated at £75,000
