PME3445 - Walsall Outdoor Pursuits Service

The Outdoor Pursuits Service operates at Sneyd Watersports Centre at the former Sneyd High School and the Aldridge Airport Outdoor & Environmental Education Centre. The Aldridge Airport Centre was developed in 2006 with a £1.076m grant from the New Opportunities Fund, one of the National Lottery distributors at that time.

Walsall Council are looking for a provider to operate and maintain the service at no cost to the council. The Council would want existing provision to be continued, but the provider will have scope to expand and develop delivery beyond this.

We are looking to undertake a competitive procurement exercise which will allow for dialogue with potential partners.

This process is asking for information which is needed by the Council in order to develop the final scope and specification for the service.
