description
Home Office Supplier Engagement - Market Engagement Generic Identity Verification Service (GIDV) Service Re-procurement
The Home Office is preparing to reprocure its General Identity Verification Solution (GIDV), a critical service supporting passport chip verification and facial matching for individuals requiring identity verification for UK entry or residency. The new tender is expected to be launched in 2026.
To ensure the future procurement is well-informed and attractive to the market, we are conducting early market engagement and inviting suppliers to participate in a Webinar and complete a Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire.
This is an opportunity for suppliers with relevant capabilities in biometric identity verification, facial recognition, chip reading, liveness detection, and secure integration with government systems to help shape the future of this essential service.
