We are looking for an Ofqual recognised awarding organisation to accredit our first aid qualifications, including providing certificates and manuals (when opted for) for the next 4 years, that meet the needs of our customers: • The awarding organisation needs to accredit: o An Ofqual recognised 2 day (16 hour) Outdoor First Aid award that focuses on the outdoor environment and satisfies most sporting national governing bodies, specifically Mountain Training, British Cycling, and the British Caving Association. Also meets the Outdoor Learning Standards for Outdoor First Aid (Band 3). o An 18 hour Advanced Outdoor First Aid award. o An Ofqual recognised Emergency First Aid at Work award. o Bespoke first aid training courses for school staff. • Certification for successful course participants that lasts for 3 years. • An email reminder system to alert award recipients when their certification is due to expire. • Provide support and resources for the Outdoor First Aid and Emergency First Aid at Work courses, whilst allowing trainers the discretion of using materials of their choice. • A system to accredit our team of first aid trainers. • A clear mechanism to train and approve additional first aid trainers as they join the staff team. • Advertise our Outdoor First Aid and Emergency First Aid at Work courses. • The awarding organisation needs to have a good reputation within the outdoor learning community for the accreditation of high quality, relevant and targeted outdoor first aid training courses. • An efficient and secure online system for the uploading of candidate information and assessment data. • An efficient and secure system in place for the processing of candidate information and the issuing of high-quality electronic certificates to successful candidates. • Be Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR compliant. • The ability to supply appropriate, high quality, tailored course manuals for candidates.
