description
We are looking to appoint a media and PR agency to promote a campaign focusing on providing a safe environment for local trade and tourism particularly in High Streets as the economy starts to reopen. The activity will be delivered as part of the Welcome Back Fund (WBF) Project on behalf of Sheffield City Council.
The project builds on the existing Reopening High Streets Safely Fund (RHSSF) and is funded by the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
Background and Overview of the Project
The project provides additional support measures to the local business community to enable safe trading in public places for businesses and customers. There is a particular focus on our high streets or 'District Centres' as well as other public places that are at the heart of towns and cities gearing up to reopen as safe, welcoming spaces.
The full list of District Centres in Sheffield can be found at Appendix 1.
Delivered by Sheffield City Council between the 1st July 2021 and 31st March 2022 the funding provided by Government through the European Regional Development Fund will deliver the following outputs.
| • | COVID-19 Public Information Campaign |
| • | COVID-19 Business Facing Campaign |
| • | High Streets with Temporary CV-19 Adaptations |
| • | Neighbourhood Shopping Areas with Temporary CV-19 Adaptations |
