Market Engagement Notice
Homecare is a key strategic service which enables service users to continue to live independently in their own home for as long as possible. It must enable service users to have choice and control over how they receive their support. The Service will support older people and adults who may have any of the following eligible needs: dementia, mental health, sensory impairments, long term conditions, physical and learning disabilities, palliative and end of life care.
Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (operating under a Bi-Borough agreement) are inviting homecare service providers to attend a market engagement event on Monday 24th June 2019 at The Small Hall, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London, W8 7NX from 1.00pm to 4.00pm, with registration and coffee from 12.30pm.
The Bi-Borough are currently reviewing their homecare service provision and the purpose of the pre-procurement market engagement process is to enable potentially interested providers with the appropriate expertise and experience of delivering homecare services to engage with the Councils to:
| - | understand their intentions, challenges and desired outcomes, |
| - | inform the Bi-Borough of current market position and possible options available to the Bi-Borough, |
| - | enable the Council to understand how the current requirements could be shaped and delivered, |
Participation in this market engagement activity does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered. The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this event. Any procurement of any services, supplies or works by the Council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions in the UK and EU Procurement Regulations.
Please register your attendance through Eventbrite via the attached link, the deadline for registration is Friday 14th June 2019.
