NHS West Kent CCG are looking to provide a Fracture Liaison Service (FLS). The FLS is integral to the already approved (by West Kent CCG Governing Body) West Kent Falls Prevention Pathway (WKFPP). The WKFPP is an integrated falls prevention model, aiming to support the identification, management and prevention of falls and fractures.

A FLS is a multidisciplinary service which aims to systematically identify, investigate, initiate treatment and integrate care for all eligible patients, over the age of 50 within a local population who have suffered a fragility fracture; with the aim of reducing their risk of subsequent (or secondary) fractures.

Additional information: The intention of this PIN is to establish if competition exists to provide this service. If no competition is evidenced the CCG will asses it actions.
