description
Following an early market event that was held in January 2018, Medway CCG ('the CCG') has now developed draft service specifications for its revised community services model. The CCG would like to invite interested Providers to offer their feedback to these draft specification via completion of the attached Request for Information (RFI).
Before reading the specifications please, Providers are asked to ensure that they download and read:
- The Case for Change which is attached to this advert
- Medway Joint Strategic Needs Analysis, specifically the hub analysis for each hub that makes up the Medway Model, which is available at: http://www.medwayjsna.info/jsna-appendices-other.html
This will provide the contextual information against which the specifications should be reviewed.
Three draft specifications are attached to this advert that collectively make up the draft requirements that the CCG will be seeking to award a contract for, from 1 April 2020. Please note these specifications are still draft and in outline and the CCG is inviting feedback at this early stage in order to ensure high quality community services are developed for Medway. The three specifications are:
- Outline Overarching Generic specification
- Outline Core Functions specification
- Outline Specialist Functions specification
Once you have read all three, please complete the attach RFI questionnaire and return to alice.donovan-hart@nhs.net by midday, Friday 7th September This is an optional process and interested Providers are not obliged to respond. However, the feedback will be used to inform the further development of the final specifications that will be used when the CCG invites bids in early 2019. As such, it is recommended that where you have any feedback to share, this is done so through this process.
A market event is also due to take place on Thursday 13th September where some elements of the specifications may be discussed - further information about this event and how to register is available here: https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/51ba1dbf-8b03-435f-a094-eb6bef475069
