Expression of Interest for the Provision of Support Services for Children and Young People with Life-Limiting Conditions

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire (referred to as the Commissioner), is seeking to establish Support Services for Children and Young People with Life-Limiting Conditions and are inviting interested providers to submit their Expression of Interest for this service.

To provide a service designed to support the needs of a child or young person with a life limiting condition and complex health needs. Support will be provided from birth to 18 years of age with the aim of enriching the lives of families and children.

The Commissioner would like to identify voluntary sector providers who are interested in delivering these services in accordance with the specification.

The Commissioner is looking to gauge the potential market interest for providing these services and would like to hear from suitably qualified and experienced providers with the necessary capacity and capability.

Providers willing to Express an Interest will be required to respond to a series of questions which are scored on a "Pass/Fail" basis. The scoring criteria for each question is stipulated within the question. Only providers who score a "Pass" on all "Pass/Fail" questions will be deemed compliant & capable. Depending on the outcome of the Expressions of Interest, the Commissioner reserves the right to direct award to provider(s) with no further competition where there is a single provider expressing an interest and scores a "Pass" on all "Pass/Fail" questions.. Depending on the number of providers who Express an Interest and score a "Pass" on all "Pass/Fail" questions, then the Commissioner may seek to undertake a Provider selection process.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 16:00 on the 4th May 2021. No expressions of interest after this time will be accepted.
