NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), are seeking suitably qualified and experienced providers to bid to deliver Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) agreements in Leicester City, for the following lots;

| • | LOT 4 – Sayeed Medical Centre |
| • | LOT 5 – St Matthews Health & Community Centre |
| • | LOT 6 – Leicester City ASSIST and Leicester City Homeless Service. |
Co-Commissioning delegated responsibility sees Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (LC CCG) seeking suitability qualified organisations to provide Alternative Provider Medical Services (General Medical Practice) in Leicester City. The procurement will be lotted, being one lot per service as listed above, and bidders can bid for whichever or however many lots they are qualified to do so.
LC CCG is keen to concentrate its efforts on targeting its resources at the most deprived and unhealthy groups in terms of both equity of access to services and community development
Extended opening hours, improved access, improved patient experience and patient outcomes are all focal points of the procurement of healthcare services
Other key objectives include;

| • | LC CCG is seeking high quality, appropriate, convenient and responsive care. |
The provider must design services around the needs of patients and carers, ensuring they are offered more choice and greater say in their treatment. The provider must have processes in place to evaluate and continually improve on patient satisfaction.
Based on feedback from the patient consultation, LC CCG is looking to increase core opening hours and appointment access to the registered population to include some evening and/or weekend working.
The services will need to be mobilised for and commence on 01st October 2016. Subject to Efficiency Control Committee (ECC) approval, the contracts' end dates will be 30th September 2026, with the option to extend (subject to performance and commissioner decision). Should the ECC, of NHS England, not approve the length proposed of these contracts the relevant parties shall be notified as soon as possible.
This opportunity will be open to the entire market. Bids will be accepted, in line with the published evaluation criteria, from current providers and new entrants. It should be noted that these contracts will be separate to any current agreements / contracts you have with NHS England or Leicester City CCG.

Additional information: The Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation was made available on 22nd January 2016 and should be completed and all bids submitted by the closing date of 5pm on 7th March 2016.
All submissions will be evaluated using the scoring criteria which is contained within the ITT -Document 1.
Clarifications may be asked during the procurement process, the deadline for clarification questions is 5pm on 29th February 2016.
