The Defence Medical Services (DMS) Picture Archiving and Communication System/Radiology Information System (PACS/RIS) provides an integrated information capability for recording radiology images and patient/examination data, including reporting, reviewing, updating and archiving X-ray, CT, ultrasound and other medical images produced in deployed, firm base and external (non-MoD) medical facilities. The current system comprises IMPAX RIS and the core PACS at the Centre for Defence Radiology (CDR) and 4 deployable PACS laptops."
