The Supplier shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements, all suppliers and Sub-Contractors visiting site shall be BPSS security vetted and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes.

The Contractor shall be expected to hold the following levels of insurance £10m Public Liability, £10m Product Liability, £5m Professional Indemnity.

KBS Maritime are delivering an ambitious, modern and enduring change to the Portsmouth Naval base infrastructure, securing investment in the local community and ensuring fit-for-purpose, world-leading fleet support for the Royal Navy and the UK in the decades ahead.

Part of the UK Ministry of Defence's (MOD) Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP), KBS Maritime will provide technology-led and data-driven facilities management and dockside services at the base.

This is an exciting opportunity to Electrical Distributors to provide a service to PNB (Portsmouth naval base) to supply a wide range of electrical consumables. We are inviting applications from well supported and established companies to tender for the contract to supply off the shelf electrical consumables in an efficient and cost effective way.

• Procure and supply a wide range of electrical consumables - both HV and LV
• Delivery to be made within normal working hours with occasional potential for emergency items 24hrs a day seven days a week
• Delivery will be required to be to a specified delivery point within Portsmouth Naval Base using a tail lift vehicle as required.
• All products are to conform to BS 7671 standard as a minimum. An extensive list of most regularly used products will be provided at ITT stage.
• KBS Supply of Goods Contract will be applicable (this will be made available at ITT stage)
