description
This requirement covers an Effluent System to bio-decontaminate waste from: Fermenter supernatant from downstream of centrifuge; Infrequent fermenter broth contents; CIP fluid washings from process equipment; CIP unit drainage; SIP condensate from process equipment; Operating and seal water from a centrifuge; Infrequent floor drain discharges. In order to be able to discharge this Effluent heat kill treatment will be required. Note where Effluent heat kill treatment is not required these flows can go directly into the Holding Tanks. Utility drainage such as from PW Generation etc. The Equipment will be installed within the new facility within the boundaries of a DSTL Site, such that all operations will be the subject of strict control regarding access and egress. The tenderer should note that the project will incorporate an extensive design reviews to
demonstrate compliance with ACDP2 Guidelines and cGMP requirements
