description
Hampshire County Council is intending to procure countywide service provision that provides a range of information, advice and support activities to individuals in a caring role - and also to individuals with Dementia (and those caring for them).
Contracts for the current provision of these services are due to expire at the end of March 2019 and a procurement exercise will be taking place ahead of this to enable new service provision to take effect from April 2019. Service delivery activities under consideration include:
- Emergency planning for carers.
- Carers advice and information provision (on a generic basis).
- Specialist dementia advisor services that provide a mechanism for facilitating access to appropriate care, support, information and advice.
We would like to invite providers to participate in a market engagement event to consider the nature of this future service provision. The event will be taking place on :
Wednesday 6th June 2018, 10am-12pm, in the Chilworth Room, Ground Floor, Hampshire House, 84-98 Southampton Road, Eastleigh, S050 5PA.
