Cheshire Occupational Health Service (COHS) is an in-house NHS Occupational Health Service hosted by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT).
COHS wishes to appoint a provider to operate an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which will assist the Service to proactively improve the health of employees and to help reduce sickness absence.
The core provision of the service will be to provide the following: 24 hour, 365 days a year confidential telephone support counselling, advice and information underpinned by face to face counselling sessions where required.
The contract will be for an initial period of 12 months, with the option to extend for a further 24 months in periods of 12 +12 increments. It is envisaged that the contract will commence on 1st September 2018.
The EAP will be offered to the staff of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (including Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) staff) as well as other customers of Cheshire Occupational Health Service (which will be agreed in advance and in writing with the successful provider). In addition, the EAP service will also be accessed by the following organisations:
