description
The Home Office intends to launch a further competition on the Technology Services 2 framework for onboarding a service provider (or alternative, a single contracting entity) for service management in respect of the Metis solution. Metis is the name that the Home Office has given to its new Oracle cloud-based solution which will replace the current system, Adelphi. Metis will provide a number of solutions for managing finance, procurement, HR (including performance and goals) to name but a few and will include IaaS, PaaS and SaaS modules.
The contract is expected to be for a maximum of 4 or 5 years. Prior to launch of the procurement, we intend to hold a pre-market engagement discovery day ("Supplier Day") of the nature described in the Technology Services 2 lot documents. The purpose of the Supplier Day is for us to consult Suppliers in order to finalise the structure of the procurement. Suppliers will have the opportunity to hear about the Metis programme, make observations or comments, ask questions (both in open forums, or small groups).
We consider that our requirements span Lot 3d and potentially Lot 3c. As at this stage, we are not entirely certain whether Lot 3c would be applicable, we are reaching out to all suppliers in Lot 3d (please note, if Lot 3c is considered applicable, any further competition may be restricted to only suppliers that are common to both lots 3c and 3d). Suppliers in Lot 3d should have received invitations on their esourcing accounts & are required to communicate with us as mentioned in the invitation documentation.
