Defence Medical Services are requesting information on the below mentioned requirement. The Authority intends to engage with industry and are looking for expressions for interest from parties who wish to dial in/hear more on the requirement.
The Requirement: The Authority has a requirement for a Global Medical Support Service. The intent of the contract is to provide service for Defence sponsored personnel who routinely travel globally without access to assured, free at the point of use healthcare. Accordingly, should the need arise, a route is required to timely, free at the point of use medical and dental care, for the Authority's staff on duty overseas. The Statement of Requirement sets out the delivery objectives of the contract. The Authority does not require a bespoke built service, but the service does need to meet the essential requirements that will be set out at a later stage.
