description

Provision of Identity Checking Service. Following the UK Government-commissioned Regulatory Review of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, the CAA modernised the drone regulatory framework, including the introduction of Remote ID. This identified a requirement to introduce IDV for drone operators registering or renewing an Operator ID through the Drone and Model Aircraft Registration and Education Service (DMARES). DMARES currently has no IDV capability. Implementing a commercial, automated IDV solution will improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and confidence that operator records relate to verified individuals.
