Nottingham City Council is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified organisations for the provision of a Befriending and Hosting Service.
The service will support families living in the boundaries of Nottingham City who have limited support networks and are in need of support to prevent children requiring care of the Local Authority in the future, by providing community based volunteer led support at a time of crisis. The service will provide:-
Coaching, befriending and mentoring support for children and young people, parents, or carers
Hosting for children, overnight safe short stay accommodation for children and young people aged 0-17, for between two nights and two weeks per hosting occasion, and up to a maximum of 28 days per child in any 12-month period.
