Community Physiotherapy Services for NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group

Arden and GEM CSU on behalf of Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Groups are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver a Community Physiotherapy service for the population of NHS Wyre Forest CCG.

It is the intention that the contract duration will be for 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months.

This service will be commissioned via an Open procurement process. It is envisaged that up to three contracts may be awarded to cover the geographic area.

The procurement will ensure a high quality musculo-skeletal (MSK) GP Referred out-patient service that meets the needs of patients registered with a GP across Wyre Forest CCG. The aim of this procurement is to deliver equity of service across the Wyre Forest CCG area to include Kidderminster, Stourport, Hagley and Bewdley localities.

The intent is to provide specialist assessment to ensure patients receive the most appropriate physiotherapy intervention, delivered in a timely manner, determined by clinical need. The procurement will be designed to support patient choice and ensure equity of access to appropriate and effective treatment programmes. Information and advice is to be given at the point of access and reinforced throughout treatment period.

The ITT will be live on 15/01/16 on the Arden GEM CSU e-tendering procurement portal (Bravo). All submissions will be evaluated using the scoring criterion which is contained within the ITT Instructions - Document 1. Clarifications may be asked during the procurement process, the deadline for ITT clarification questions is 5pm on 05/02/16. All bids need to be returned by 5pm 25/02/16.
