The objectives of the research are to:
| 1. | Improve our understanding of key issues and concerns of those who use Applied General qualifications. |
| 2. | Identify in what ways Applied General qualifications are, and are not, 'fit for purpose' in preparing learners to progress to Higher Education |
| 3. | Identify key features of Applied General qualifications that are particularly valued by users. |
| 4. | Identify any specific areas where stakeholders believe that improvements could be made to the standards of current Applied General qualifications. |
We will use this to inform regulation of current Applied General qualifications, as well as shaping the advice we provide to government with regards to these qualifications.
