description

The University of Sheffield's Department of Physics and Astronomy, with funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), requires a high-spectral-resolution and high-sensitivity spectroscopy system (spectrometer) for optical spectroscopy of semiconductor quantum dots (QDs), emitting in the telecom wavelength range (1300nm to 1600nm). The principal uses will be for recording and filtering fluorescence spectra from self-assembled InGaAs QDs.
