'Merseytravel currently produce approximately 145 000 concessionary passes annually, with approximately 323 000 in circulation. Merseytravel require a 2 year managed service to commence in March 2015 with the opportunity to extend for up to 2 years to meet the following requirements: To encode, produce and distribute the ITSO customer media devices and associated bureau services in compliance with ITSO standards version 2.1.4, DfT guidelines and UK Data Protection legislation, A flexible agreement for the supply of ITSO certified blank white desfire cards for English National Concessionary Travel Passes and Merseytravel Local Concession cards is required, Card production will include card encoding, secure hologram application and digital personalisation, Printing and distribution of cards will include a personalised covering letter and information leaflet for distribution direct to customers offering best value to Merseytravel, To manage stock control of all components of the contract including card media, To provide and maintain hardware and software for personalised card production at Merseytravel locations, Compatibility and interfaces with existing infrastructure including but not limited to CMS and HOPS will be the responsibility of the successful supplier. The supplier must be able to demonstrate proven experience of delivering a service to this scale and complexity. Monthly volumes fluctuate, and may be affected by the possibility of including applicants from the Borough of Halton.'
