description
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a highly experienced agency to identify and recruit people within the Dudley community and to use a deliberative enquiry approach to engage residents on the development of its digital services and how they can be supported to change the way they interact with the council.
Dudley's Council Plan 2016/19 has a priority of "One council, building an effective and dynamic organisation", which articulates an ambition of improving the way that residents interact with the Council, as well as reducing the cost of transactions, by implementing a digital self-serve platform (online customer account).
In 2016 Corporate Board therefore approved a Digital Transformation Programme of delivery, which included the implementation of a Digital Platform for the Council, with the broad aims of:
Enhancing citizen interactions;
Improving efficiency (including case management); and
Creating significant savings by moving services online/improving self-service.
Dudley Council is encouraging organisations / companies, including SME's, to consider the 'Social Value' aspect of their proposed service delivery in projects. The successful provider will be expected to demonstrate how they will support this.
