This qualitative research project aims to explore employees' awareness of and experience with employment expenses and claiming a relief from HMRC on the expenses their employer does not reimburse. This research will help understand how the system currently works in practice and what could be done to improve it. The findings will be used to further enhance evidence base in the area of non-reimbursed employment expenses.
