Kingsmead School has a statutory duty to make arrangements for the provision of appropriate education otherwise than at school, for children of compulsory school age who, by reason of exclusion from school or otherwise, will not receive a suitable education without these arrangements.Tenders are invited from suitable organisations for the supply of services in respect of Alternative Education Provision for Kingsmead School.Lots are as follows:Lot 1: Administration, Business and EnterpriseLot 2: Animal CareLot 3: ArtsLot 4: CateringLot 5: Child careLot 6: ConstructionLot 7: Core SubjectsLot 8: DanceLot 9: EAL (English as an Additional Language)Lot 10: EngineeringLot 11: FishingLot 12: Hospitality and CateringLot 13: Land Based/ Horticulture StudiesLot 14: Motor VehicleLot 15: Music and Digital MediaLot 16: Outdoor EducationLot 17: Personal Development and ProgressionLot 18: Retail and Customer ServiceLot 19: SportsLot 20: Virtual LearningLot 21: OtherContracts will be awarded either by direct call-off from the relevant Lot or through further competition. Tenderers may bid for one or more Lots.The contract will start on 7th September 2015 and will continue for one academic year. There is the option to extend for a further two academic years in one year increments, subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
