TD0892 - The provision of Alternative Payment Services

Tenders are invited for the supply of Payment Collection services in respect of the collection of Council Tax, National Non Domestic Rates (NNDR), Sundry Debts and Housing Benefit overpayments for Derby City Council and Derby Homes.Derby City Council and Derby Homes provide their customers with various methods of payments for bills such as rent, council tax and homecare services that are easy, simple to use in accessible and convenient locations in all areas of Derby city.In 12 months, the Council and Derby Homes received payments via a combined total of 304,797 transactions. Payments are made by using a payment card or presenting a barcoded bill to various payment outlets across Derby to allow the accurate allocation and tracking of payments from individual customers / debtors on a daily basis.The contract period is for one year, the contract is estimated to commence 1st April 2015 and expire 31st March 2016.Please note, suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation, must do so by 15:00 on 13th January 2015. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for returns is 14:00 on 14th January 2015.
