This is for the provision of a current version of a complete DLS instrument. The contract requires the successful tenderer to supply and install fully a current model of an instrument with the following technical features:

  • 1.DLS instrument:
  • oCapable of measuring particle size, zeta potential, electrophoretic mobility, molecular mass and transmittance
  • oOffering three measuring angles (forward-, side- and back-scattering)
  • oMeasuring transmittance continuously, allowing for direct measure of turbidity and automatic adjustment of parameters such as focus, attenuation, measuring angle and measurement duration
  • oCapable of measuring zeta potential with high accuracy, through electrophoretic light scattering
  • oSize range: 0.3 nm to 10 um
  • oZeta potential range: +/- 1000 mV
  • oMolecular mass range: 980 Da to 20 Mda
